A lovely sunny afternoon with the boys at Cummingston. I used to spend a lot of time when at school at Gordonstoun climbing on those cliffs and it was sweet to spend some time looking up at them.
I love wiping back the glaze to enhance the texture of a piece of work. Very much looking forward to getting these wee trinket dishes back in the kiln.
I loved teaching Clay Club at the Spey Bank Studio earlier this year - here's some of the highlights. It was brilliant to have such enthusiastic students and see them develop their skills over the weeks.
Been back in the pottery to make vases and experiment with glazes. What do you think about these?
One last bothy!
Hands up who's been to this bothy?
