Coo Cathedral

I’m off on my travels later this week – back on the craft fair circuit.

Angus Grant Art will be at Coo Cathedral near Aboyne on Saturday and Sunday for Exclusively Highlands event. I’ve never been there before so I’m really looking forward to it. The venue looks fantastic and I reckon there will be a brilliant atosphere.

It’s a great chance to go further afield with my work and meet new people.

Coo Cathedral is also the first in a series of events for me in the run-up to Christmas. This is the list so far.

Sept 10-11 – Exclusively Highlands, Coo Cathedral, Aboyne
Nov 18-20 – Exclusively Highlands, Eden Court Theatre, Inverness
Dec 9-11 – Exclusively Highlands, Eden Court Theatre, Inverness

You can also find the list on my Events page – hope to see at one of these soon!

Busy busy…

Wee loch 1

Lots of stuff going on for Angus Grant Art just now.

While I am at Grantown Museum with Beyond Reasonable Trout until July 10, I am also showing work as part of the Creative Cairngorms summer show in Nethy Bridge.

The show is on until August 14 at the Abernethy Old Kirk.

And on July 16-17, I’ll be at Inverness Highland Games and Gala to sell mugs and coasters.

Exclusively Highlands is running a big craft fair during the weekend event at Bught Park, which has a packed programme of events, including shinty, the Inverness Military Wives Choir and Highland dancing.

And there’ll be the Highland Strongman and Strongwoman competitions on July 17.

Box of fishing flies

Been busy with the colouring in pencils, putting together a collection of pictures for the upcoming exhibition, Beyond Reasonable Trout. Think I’ll put them on some mugs too for that all important brew, after a hard evening’s fishing!

Another chance to get your gifts!

There’s no escaping Angus Grant Art mugs this weekend!

I enjoyed the Creative Cairngorms craft fair so much a week or so ago that I’m doing it all again…… Twice!

And I’m sending a couple of Christmas elves down to Kingussie to set up stall at the Society of Badenoch and Strathspey artists ‘arts and craft market at the Iona Gallery. It’s the same place I had my exhibition in the summer so you should all know the way. Details below.

See you all there!

Chameleons

I’ve had so much fun drawing pictures for these ones…..Mugs, beer steins, bottles and fancy stainless steel travel mugs, all with sneaky wee chameleons hunting beasties on the other side of them. These new products are available in James Gordon’s 1896 gallery in Boat of Garten.
