Just a couple of days to go before the launch of Into the Cairngorms and I thought I’d let you have a wee look at some of the new works that will be on display.

My collection is focussed on the lochs of the area and offering a different perspective to what you might expect. I’ve been painting aerial views of Loch Morlich and Avielochan as well. It’s fascinating to see how many buildings there are hidden away off the A95 at Avielochan, though they have been challenging to paint.

The exhibition kicks off on Saturday August 10, at 10am, and will run until Sunday August 18. I’m really looking forward to it and hope to see you there!
