Hope you are all well and coping with everything that is going on just now. It all feels a bit crazy.

I wanted to give a wee update on events that I was expecting to be attending this year. Unfortunately, Piping Inverness was cancelled today because of the coronavirus pandemic. You can read the organiser’s statement by clicking here.

Given the government advice about mass gatherings over the past few days, it was probably inevitable – everyone must make efforts to stop the spread of the virus. And I also expect that other big events on my calendar may also be cancelled. I will endeavour to keep the calendar up-to-date as I get the information. This year was going to be a busy one for me and hopefully some of the later events still go ahead.
